343 Industries have revealed another one of the maps to be played in Halo 4. The map called 'Vortex' has been introduced with a nice video of some gameplay on the map, and some shiny screenshots.

Vortex is a multi-tiered map designed specifically for Big Team Battles supporting vehicular play according to 343, the full description is below.

The Forerunner structures which occupy Requiem’s equatorial caverns appear to generate power by harnessing its violent squalls. Onsite personnel believe that a full understanding of such a technology would offer the UEG substantial amounts of affordable, clean energy. Nevertheless, its internal mechanisms remain enigmatic.

The map has a large forerunner structure right in the center which is accessible from ramps, man cannons, and gravity lifts. Around the structure are small buildings or bases that will be used as spawn points or places to hide and find weapons.

There are bridges linking all of the bases together so vehicles can easily travel around the map whilst also protecting players that are on foot.

Check out the gameplay on the video below:

Here of course are the still shots of the map:

Killstreaks, killcams customizable loadouts....Say hello to cod-a-like imo. Why can't it be like Halo 2/3 the mp. Why has it to be more mainstream :(. Looking good though system/graphics wise.

It's only some gametypes that are CODish. Others are that classical halo 2/3 mp that you are hoping for. I just hope the ranking system has a natural halo feel.
