This unexpected release of Clash in the Clouds has come as quite a shock to many fans as a release for DLC wasn't expected until later this year. For the majority BioShock Infinite's fans the DLC has been eagerly anticipated and long overdue as many gamers have been waiting patiently to see what whats next for Booker Dewitt.

From what we can tell, Clash in the Clouds is a "Horde Style" add-on for BioShock Infinite with no direct storyline. The DLC includes four maps all from the original locations in BioShock Infinite each with 15 waves to be played on each. Clash in the Clouds also contains 10 new achievements bringing the total Gamerscore up to a new 1195.

At a price of only 400 Microsoft Points / (£3.40) - ($4.99) this seems quite the steal. "Season Pass" holders can download this content for free.

It does seem that this unexpected bomb shell is a way to "Tide over" fans until the release of the known DLC Burial At Sea that is set to hit the marketplace later this year.

I'm not a huge fan of "horde" DLCs, but I own the season pass so I may as well get it.

Without putting any spoilers, in my opinion they shot them self in the foot with the ending so i can see why it's taking a while to "think up" some ideas for DLC ;)
