Xbox 360

Hello there! I'm Bytyqi and after some chatting, arguing and discussion with the Staff we've finally decided that I will, once every Friday, direct the spotlight to one specific game. It will be a game that many people never really gave a chance to. An underestimated game that never had the chance to show it's full potential. I will talk about the gameplay, graphics, achievements etc.

We will be starting off this weekly event with Bodycount.

Bodycount is a game that was published on the 2nd of September, 2011 by Codemasters. The game was developed by Guildford Studio The game is a first-person shooter.

The Single-player part throws you directly into the heat of combat and you get to learn the controls by excuting certain things. The gameplay is very unique and actually not bad at all. You play as Jackson. Jackson's mission is to get to Africa, deal with a couple of things then get the hell out of there, but strange things keeps happening. After a while he decides to deal with them, and by the help by "The Network" he decides to do it (well, you decide, because you're playing. Duh). You fight waves of enemies in Africa and Asia while entering huge bases inside mountains and other "well-disguised" areas. The gameplay may seem repetitive, but you'll get used to it.

Graphics: Bodycount has awesome graphics. It can't be compared to the leading FPS in the business, but considering how underrated this game is, they're great. The weapons are as in any FPS game, but they've really tried to make them look unique. I can't say they've failed, but they haven't succeeded either. The sound of the weapons being fired is very sweet to the weapon-fanatic.

Achievements: The achievements are very straightforward. Many are unlocked by simply progressing through the game, but there are also acheivements for killing a certain amount of enemies with style. That could be by killing enemies through cover, killing them with mines, even taking out a sniper with a grenade! The difficulty achievements are stackable, but I strongly recommend that you play through the game twice as it'll be easier for you to pick up the remaining of the achievements. (achievement progression will carry over, and even if you die, you won't lose your progression). Playing through twice will also let you enjoy the game more. I won't say it's impossible to complete the game once on the highest difficulty, as it's really possible. As a matter of fact, it'll even go faster if you're really good, but I played it through twice and didn't regret it. I personally completed the game on the Hard difficulty within 5-6 hours (rushing through, of course)

Multiplayer:

The Multiplayer can be pretty fun to play. Only problem is, nobody plays it anymore. Setting up sessions will probably be necessary. The achievements in Multiplayer can be pretty annoying. You earn achievements for reaching certain stages in a "wave-style" co-op gameplay. Just remember NOT to play a private match, as the achievement for getting 1000 kills will not count. Once again, if you die during any Siege, the kills still counts. You would have to re-attempt that Siege, though.

There you go, fellas. I recommend that you pick up this game. It's not just fun, but also very cheap. I can't name prices as I'm not quite sure whereabouts you guys live, but I've been looking online, and they're pretty cheap.

I was about to do it. I wrote about 3 sentences about Damnation, but then deleted it and did Bodycount instead.
