Soon, Halo: Spartan Assault will also be available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Previously released on Windows 8 and Windows Phone, 343 Industries together with Vanguard Games has confirmed Halo: Spartan Assault will be released for the Xbox One on December 24th, 2013 for $14.99 via digital download. Xbox 360 owners will have to wait until January next year.

If you've already purchased this game before, either on your Windows 8 or Windows Phone, then you'll be eligible to download this upon release for the discounted price of $4.99. Note that you still have got until the 15th of December to purchase the game on either Windows 8 or Windows Phone to take part of the deal. (Sounds like a Merry Christmas, indeed!)

As for achievements, a full list showing both the Xbox 360 ones and Xbox One ones (no pun intended) can be found here

As an Xbox One title, there are 1000 Achievement Points up for grabs, which means new Achievements and higher values to gun for.

After counting the total gamerscore of the Xbox One achievements, the amount of gamerscore I landed on was 970, I counted several times, and it seems like an achievement is missing. As you may have already noticed, the Xbox One will have 970 (1000?) gamerscore to be worked towards, while 360 owners will have to settle with only 385 Gamerscore. But since every achievement is worth twice as much on the Xbox One, and there's a 30 G achievement missing for the full 1000 G, I'm thinking that if we divide that gamerscore in 2, and add that sum to the Xbox 360 versions 385, we get 400, which seems much more reasonable for a downloadable game.

This game looks good, since I can't play on my phone I will really give a try on my xbox.
