With under 4 weeks until the release of Fable Anniversary, Lionhead Studios has announced even more freebies if you pre-order.

After that Lionhead announced the official release date of their latest installment, Fable Anniversary, they also took their time to announce some pre-order bonuses for us. Now, with less than 4 weeks until the release of the game, they've confirmed that the game has been created on disc and will start the shipping to selected retail stores. If you're still not convinced to rush to the store and place your pre-order, how about some more pre-order goodies? Pre-order the game at selected retailers today and receive on of the following packs:

Peiratēs Pre Order Pack

Peiratēs Outfit

Peiratēs was a famous plunderer, known for travelling uncharted waters to take entire cargo ships hostage for their most expensive items. He was also known by the name "Pete" in less formal circles.

Peiratēs Cutlass

A weapon used at sea needs to be both practical and effective. Peiratēs spent years refining this weapon so that the hook could be used to catch fish, the tip could be used to eat fish, and the blade could be used to slit a man's throat

Snowspire Pre Order Pack

Snowspire Guard Outfit

Made from genuine horse hair, this outfit is said to calm even the most vocal of criminals.

The Jackarse

An age-old popular pasttime was run by a chap named Jack, who used to slap people around the face with a dead fish until they fell onto their arse. The rest, as they say, is history...

Apollo's Pre Order Pack

Apollo's Outfit

Apollo is the pseudonym for the leader of The Grey Company, the man responsible for monitoring Lady Grey's financial investments. As fearsome as that may sound, he had a reputation for being incredibly nice, often using his own money to bail out any villager that couldn't afford that months rent.

Apollo's Crossbow

Based on a centuries old concept, Apollo wanted to create a modern crossbow with the feel of a relic from the past - and thus this crossbow was born. Dependable in combat, but also pretty tasty to look at.

For those of you who would like to have all of these packs, don't worry as all of these packs will be available on the Marketplace later this year.

Last, but definitely not least, I present the achievement list for those of you who've not seen it. Personally, I think this is the the most beautiful list I've ever seen. It also seems like it's the first time that you can see the value of each achievement on the achievement picture itself! Not only do they have their corresponding gamerscore printed on the picture, they also seem to be categorized in what type of achievements they are.

The Category 1's & 2's

Now that we’ve discussed the potentially missable achievements, I feel it’s time to move onto the category 1’s / 2’s, and there’s a short story behind these achievements too! It was a lovely summer’s day at Lionhead; the skies were grey and it was raining hard. We had with us our list of 150 achievement ideas, but something didn’t seem right. It was then, that we conjured up the idea that “For every achievement, a consequence”. Ok, ok, perhaps not every achievement, but we thought wouldn’t it be cool to have 15 achievements that could be earned in one of two ways! Here are those very 15 achievements, along with the conditions that you need to unlock them.

The Category 3’s & 4’s

We’re getting close now, it’s time to move onto the Category 3’s and 4’s. These achievements require a certain amount of thought, or a certain technique in order to unlock. These are the kind of achievements that will unlock if you pull off a cool feat, or reward you from doing something different. If you don’t want to spoil the surprise of these, look away now!

This is it, if you’ve read this far you are a true achievement hunter. You are the kind of player that will earn achievements at all costs even if it means playing Avatar: The Legend of Aang, you’ll laugh in the face of a website *spoiler* tag, and if someone says they haven’t seen Star Wars, you are the first to reply with “Darth Vader is Luke’s father”. You, oh immortal one, are now rewarded with all 15 of the story-based achievements.

I, personally, can't wait for this game. Being a long time fan of the Fable series, this is the only game that I've truly been waiting for. The achievement list looks so much fun and even if some stuff may seem challenging, I am going to have so much fun playing through this game while popping every possible achievement. I hope I'm not the only one!

The game is due to be released on the 4th February 2014 in North America, the 6th February in Asia and the 7th February in Europe.

I got the Snowspire one. The Jackarse is pretty cool but i think they should have put another outfit for it. There are so many Guards outfits already. But OK the pack is called Snowspire so why not.
