Xbox One exclusive, Dead Rising 3, will be heading off to PC this summer as a digital download on Steam, and it will be available at retail in Europe.
Dead Rising 3 was set to be an Xbox exclusive and was one of the great Xbox One launch titles. Just recently the game has been spotted on the Steam database and now it has been officially announced the game will be coming to PC gamers very soon.
It will support Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards and have global leaderboards. It will of course be playable with keyboard and mouse, but also will keep it's controller support which is perfect timing as just today the
Xbox One Controller Drivers for Windows were released.
As well as multi control support, the game will allow the player to switch between controllers in real time, which could be used for some multiplayer fun or to make gameplay much easier.

Capcom Vancouver developed the title and launched it last November, selling 1.2 million copies between release and the end of business year in March 2014 with Microsoft's publishing.
After it's release, four DLC packs were launched introducing new playable characters, weapons and vehicles. There is currently no word on DLC for the PC version.

Yeah, I personally expected some sort of integration with Windows 8's implementation of Xbox LIVE or maybe the new DirectX will have Xbox LIVE integration.
Microsoft seem to be making a bit of a return to PC gaming, yet they are doing it via Steam. I really don't understand why they aren't doing it via their own platform.
